Yeovil is a sizeable market town in South Somerset, close to the Dorset border, which is well known as the base for Westland helicopters. The town is close to the historic town of Sherborne and is surrounded by attractive, undulating countryside typical of this part of the County. The office covers the town, as well as the surrounding villages up to a 10 miles radius, some of which are built predominantly of a golden coloured sandstone, locally quarried at Ham Hill.
The town has an excellent shopping centre, as well as good local amenities, a wide choice of leisure facilities and a mainline railway station.
There is a good mix of property in the town from Victorian to the 1930's, as well as a wide choice of modern housing. The surrounding villages have a good selection of traditional property and character cottages, many of which benefit from rural views.
