    Established in 1992, Patrick Gardner are an independent estate agency with four branches located across the Mole Valley. As a company we have exceptional knowledge and experience in all aspects of residential property. 

    Expansive plans and the opportunity to occupy the 'old HSBC' premises led us to relocate from the Crossroads to the High Street in March 2014. This spacious high profile unit will allow Patrick Gardner to offer both sales and rentals from our Bookham office.     On the sales side, Partner Chris Yeomans has many years of local estate agency experience which made him the perfect candidate to take over from the retiring Partner Ian Baillie in the spring of 2013. Ian achieved a formidable track record having spent over forty years working in the village and still remains an active consultant of the firm. Chris continues to build upon this solid foundation with his team which is both enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Chris is supported by his Manager, Charlotte Ward, Senior Negotiator SarahJane Marchant and Secretary, Jan Nicholas.

    About Bookham

    Bookham still retains a village atmosphere with an excellent range of shops in the High Street and Church Road whilst sporting pastimes are well catered for locally including a number of golf clubs and the Leatherhead Leisure Centre.

    Local schools are much in demand particularly the Howard of Effingham secondary school as well as the Eastwick and Dawnay infant and junior schools.

    Bookham's charm is enhanced by the glorious countryside which surrounds the village (much of which is owned by The National Trust) while commuters are well served by the A3, the M25, mainline stations at Bookham and Effingham Junction and good access to both Heathrow and Gatwick Airports.

    All this combines to make Bookham a thoroughly pleasant and attractive part of the south east in which to live.

    Chris has been in the business for over 40 years working in Leatherhead, Fetcham and Bookham and consequently has an in-depth knowledge of the area and has gained a reputation for giving sound and sensible advice on all matters relating to the sale and purchase of residential property.

    Born in Dorking where he was educated and has lived all his life he is married to Fiona and they have a son and daughter. Active in the local Church and other organisations the family are very well known.

    Charlotte Ward BSc (Hons) MNAEA - Manager
    Charlotte joined Patrick Gardner in 2007. As part of developing her knowledge and expertise she has studied and since gained her professional qualification with the National Association of Estate Agents. She adopts a friendly and practical approach in her dealings with clients and focuses on making the selling and buying process as straight forward and as stress free as possible. Her local knowledge and patience with buyers and sellers alike has proved invaluable. Charlotte lives with her husband Steve and son Toby near Dorking.

    SarahJane Marchant MNAEA - Senior Negotiator
    SarahJane joined Patrick Gardner Residential Lettings in 2005 and moved across to the Bookham office to join the sales team in 2013. In 2015 she attained her agency qualifications along with a promotion to Senior Sales Negotiator.  Having lived in Bookham and Leatherhead for around 25 years she has an excellent knowledge of the local area and numerous contacts.  SarahJane lives with her partner Steve and their cocker spaniel and has two grown children.

    Jan Nicholas - Secretary/ Administrator
    Jan has been working in estate agency for over 20 years. Her role is pivotal in the efficient running of the Bookham office where she provides valuable secretarial and administrative support to the sales team. Jan is married with two children and lives locally in Fetcham. In her spare time she is kept busy looking after her grandchildren.

    Ian Baillie - Consultant
    Ian Baillie has retired from full time duties with the partnership but continues to have an active role as a consultant to the Company and has already helped with a number of valuations since his retirement. He is more than happy to be contacted for advice/help and can be reached via our Bookham Office when it is hoped that his 45 years of residential expertise may prove to be useful. He will continue to follow through several potential development projects providing Patrick Gardner Residential with some excellent new homes to sell. Ian also remains a director of Patrick Gardner Residential Lettings. When not involved with the business you may spot Ian at Effingham Golf Club, he is a passionate golfer playing off a handicap of 6.
