    After starting my working life as a teacher, I joined Spring Estate Agency in 1986 and I quickly progressed to ultimately managing one of Yorkshire's most successful and profitable branches within the William H Brown group following the sale of Spring in 1987.  I believe my personality and people skills have allowed me to not only succeed within the industry as an individual but shape the company which we run today.

    I have been an Estate Agent for since starting my career with Philip & Mo at Spring Estate Agents in 1987. After the company was bought by William H Brown in 1989 I stayed on as a Sales Negotiator and progressed to Senior Sales Negtiator with them until 1994 when I moved to Halifax Property Services as a Sales Negotiator/Valuer. I progressed through the Branch Manager/Estate agency partner until 2007, then had a change of career into retail and became a manager for Tesco. After a couple of years in retail I missed the buzz of Estate Agency so much I came back to Philip and Mo Bannister at Philip Bannister and Co as Branch Manager and Valuer.

    Matthew Holmes - Branch Manager/Valuer- Elloughton

    Always having a keen interest in the property industry I decided against the University route and to just start my career from the bottom. I joined a local Estate Agent firm in 2007 as a trainee and learnt the foundations very quickly whilst enhancing my skills through level 2 and 3 NVQ in Residential Property Sales. After the retirement of once of the Senior Partners at the firm I then took up the responsibility of managing the full property stock.

    In 2011 I made the switch to Philip Bannister & Co to progress my career further in a more sales focused environment and I am now Branch Manager of our Elloughton office.

    Nan Lacey - Sales Consultant - Elloughton
    I am the longest serving member of staff at Philip Bannister & Co. I met Phil when he came to value our house (and Yes he did Sell it). I started work in the Hessle Office and then moved to Elloughton Office on its opening. I am now in my 14th year with the company. I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of my sales consultant role and have met some wonderful people in the process. We are a friendly, skilled and happy team and it is nice to know that the values Mo and Phil hold dear are important to the team too. I look forward to seeing clients old and new in our offices.
