So who are YoungsRPS? The origins of the business go back over a century to James Turnbull & Son, founded in 1879 in Chester le Street. More recently, in 2012, Youngs Chartered Surveyors merged with Rural Property Services, and today the company offers a comprehensive list of rural estate agency, property management and professional services to a wide range of clients.
Over all of the years, and in all of its many guises, the company has retained its central focus on the North, and now operates from offices across the region. We pride ourselves on our unique understanding of this region, its strengths and weaknesses, and our ability to utilise this knowledge within the services we provide.
Longevity is only achievable by a business if it is prepared to adapt and move with the times. Our latest merger has enabled us to make a firm commitment to estate agency, while very much retaining our rural and agricultural focus. The expansion also enables us, as a firm, to further expand the breadth of professional services we offer to retained clients.
At YoungsRPS we consider ourselves to be a dynamic and highly successful rural practice. We have built up a team of skilled professionals and put the greatest emphasis on building strong relationships with our clients, providing a personal service tailored to their individual needs. We like to take a proactive approach to management, and see attention to detail as paramount. As a result we have been successfully retained to manage a number of the region’s farms and estates over many years, and even generations.
