    There are many reasons to let your property through Rettie & Co. We are one of the top five letting agencies in Edinburgh and we also have a growing portfolio of good quality properties in Glasgow and elsewhere in Scotland.

    We manage over 800 properties on behalf of our landlord clients, ranging from one or two bedroom flats to large family homes. We also arrange student lets in Edinburgh and Glasgow. We attain excellent rents and excellent tenants for our properties, and have a stringent referencing process for tenants.

    Our dedicated team of over 25 letting and management staff are trained and experienced in all aspects of property rentals, from marketing to safety checks and inspections. We provide a range of services for landlords, enabling you to choose the level of support and day-to-day management you want. We offer Tenant Introduction Only (TIO), or a Full Management service (FLM) that can cover everything from marketing to maintenance, or even project-managing a refurbishment. We let both furnished and unfurnished properties.

    We promote our clients' properties through our own website and the leading property letting websites. We have excellent contacts with major relocation agents and corporate employers, who frequently come to us for Edinburgh properties, Glasgow properties, and properties out of town.

    Stuart Montgomery

    Director of Letting & Management

    Stuart joined Rettie & Co. in 2013 following a period of consultancy work with the firm and is responsible for Business Development in the Letting & Management Department along with the planning and integration of strategic acquisitions. In addition, Stuart is the Managing Director of Edinburgh Festival Rentals Limited, a recent acquisition for Rettie & Co., focussing on short term lets and the letting and management of Festival accommodation. Prior to joining Rettie & Co. Stuart ran an Edinburgh based letting agency on behalf of a privately held investment holding company before leading the business to a successful exit in 2012.

    Camilla Younger

    Associate Director, Rural Lettings

    Camilla is based between Rettie & Co.'s Edinburgh and Melrose offices with responsibility for the development of the rural residential portfolio and management of student lets. Camilla originally joined the lettings team in 2002 as lettings manager overseeing the day to day running of the department.

    Ros Mills

    Portfolio Manager

    Ros joined Rettie & Co in 2005, and since then has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience of the lettings industry through the various roles she has undertaken. These have included Lease Administrator, Letting Agent, Business Development and Lettings Department Manager. After taking some time off on maternity leave, Ros returned to work in summer 2014, and has since taken on a new challenge as Portfolio Manager, dealing with all aspects of the letting and management of a large portfolio of properties. Prior to this Ros was an events manager for a national charity and graduated from Aberdeen University in 2002 with an MA (Hons) in Sociology.

    Judy joined Rettie & Co in July 2014 as a Letting Agent and Property Manager for the Rural Lettings Department. Judy is involved with expanding our portfolio across Central Scotland, Lothians, the Borders and beyond. Judy's responsibilities within the team range from winning new business, carrying out viewings, negotiating lets and day to day property management,as well as handling tenant and landlord queries. Judy has been in property management for two years and is a qualified member of ARLA.

Vicky graduated from Edinburgh Napier University with an LLB Law Degree and also has an HNC in Legal Services.     Louise Amos

    Associate Director

    Louise joined Rettie & Co. in 2006 and is responsible for operations in the short term letting department. In addition to the management of the Rettie & Co. short lets portfolio Louise also runs our subsidiary, Edinburgh Festival Rentals Ltd., which was acquired in 2014 and focusses on the letting and management of accommodation for the Edinburgh Festival. Prior to taking on her current role, Louise built up substantial experience in our long-term lettings business having been engaged as both a letting agent and a property manager during her time with the firm. This extensive experience in both long and short term lets gives Louise the depth of perspective required to advise our clients on the course of action best suited to both their circumstances and their specific asset. Louise read Geography, Economics and Social History at the University of Edinburgh graduating MA (hons).

    Tommy has worked within property management and sales for over 10 years and has an excellent understanding of the Edinburgh and Lothian markets respectively. Having already worked with some of Edinburgh's biggest property firms, tommy joined the team in September 2014 and has been an invaluable addition to the management team. Currently responsible for all aspects of property management, client relations and also the day to day management of a substantial portfolio, to include maintenance, renewals, viewings, lease signings and rent reviews.
