    There are many reasons to let your property through Rettie & Co. We are one of the top five letting agencies in Edinburgh and we also have a growing portfolio of good quality properties in Glasgow and elsewhere in Scotland.

    We manage over 1500 properties on behalf of our landlord clients, ranging from one or two bedroom flats to large family homes. We also arrange student lets in Edinburgh and Glasgow. We attain excellent rents and excellent tenants for our properties, and have a stringent referencing process for tenants.

    Our dedicated team of over 25 letting and management staff are trained and experienced in all aspects of property rentals, from marketing to safety checks and inspections. We provide a range of services for landlords, enabling you to choose the level of support and day-to-day management you want. We offer Full Management service (FLM) that can cover everything from marketing to maintenance, or even project-managing a refurbishment, or a Tenant Introduction Only (TIO). We let both furnished and unfurnished properties.

    We promote our clients' properties through our own website and the leading property letting websites. We have excellent contacts with major relocation agents and corporate employers, who frequently come to us for Edinburgh properties, Glasgow properties, and properties out of town.

    Director of Lettings

    With over 25 years of experience in the Scottish and Edinburgh property market, Karen has retained a real passion for every aspect of her role, from ensuring that each individual client receives the first-class service they deserve to the fizz of excitement when finding just the right property for a client. Karen has extensive knowledge and experience in the Scottish and Edinburgh property market, working with private individual and investors. Karen is a former board member of a Scottish Law Practice.

    Lettings Manager 

    Victoria joined our team in August 2013 after gaining her wealth of experience with a previous ARLA accredited firm. Continuingly attending SAL seminars throughout the last 8 years she is always keen to stay up to date with the ever changing regulations associated with the lettings industry. Victoria will be managing her own portfolio and will deal with all aspects of her properties, always full of enthusiasm she treats both landlords and tenants with respect. Victoria is very much aware of the individual needs of each and every client she deals with.

    Portfolio Manager

    Michael joined Rettie & Co in February 2018 having previously worked in both the residential and commercial property sector in Edinburgh and Glasgow. Michael's role at Rettie & Co includes the day to day management of a portfolio of properties, negotiating lets, dealing with maintenance issues and liaising with both landlords and tenants. Michael is aware of the individual needs of each individual client and is committed to delivering a high level of customer service. Michael graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2014 with a MA Hons in Geography.

    Ros Mills
    New Business Manager

    Ros joined Rettie & Co in 2005, and since then has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience of the lettings industry through the various roles she has undertaken. These have included Lease Administrator, Letting Agent, Business Development and Lettings Department Manager. After taking some time off on maternity leave, Ros returned to work in summer 2014, and has since taken on a new challenge as Portfolio Manager, dealing with all aspects of the letting and management of a large portfolio of properties. Prior to this Ros was an events manager for a national charity and graduated from Aberdeen University in 2002 with an MA (Hons) in Sociology.

    Alana joined Rettie & Co in December 2014 as a Portfolio Manager within the Lettings and Management Department. A member of ARLA since 2007 Alana is committed to delivering exceptional customer service taking care of every last detail. Alana brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role as Portfolio Manager with over ten years' experience of working within this industry in various different roles, Alana has had the opportunity to make mistakes and learn from them. Alana has a strong work ethic coupled with excellent ability to visualize, gather information, articulate, analyze, solve complex problems, and make decisions.
