Ridgeway, is a leading independent estate agent with offices in Swindon, Wiltshire and Fairford, Gloucestershire. We also have prominent window displays in Highworth, Wiltshire and Lechlade, Gloucestershire.
The origins of Ridgeway Estate Agents can be traced back to 1987 when West of England Building Society started an agency chain by buying renowned Swindon agent, John Legge Associates. A merge or two later and the company was then Portman Estate Agents. In 1998, following a management buy out, Ridgeway Estate Agents was founded. Ridgeway have since merged with Joy Sherwood, Philippa Lawrence and Roderick Wightman. Most recently, in July 2012, Ridgeway joined forces with White Horse Estate Agents of Fairford.
Ridgeway has developed an extensive knowledge of the local market enabling us to offer a wide range of services. We operate in the borderlands of Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire and deal with all aspects of residential sales and lettings, land and new homes.
Our mission statement is “Cavere et Consideratio” – Care and Consideration. Moving home doesn’t have to be stressful and we strive to provide the service that smoothes the way. The aim of Ridgeway Estate Agents is to market homes efficiently, effectively and professionally.
We are committed to providing our customers with individual high quality advice based on the wealth of experience of our local dedicated sales and lettings teams.
In 2011, Sue Pulker from our Fairford office, was invited to attend the National Property Awards for Women at Wembley and won The Negotiator of the Year award. Naturally, we are all immensely proud of Sue’s achievement but would also like to think that it represents a service standard throughout the company.
With well over 100 years of combined experience, we pride ourselves on our approach and professionalism, combining the traditional values you would expect from experienced people and a well established firm with the latest innovations and technology.
