    I joined the company in 1992 as a part time sales receptionist based in the Oldham office on Union Street. Richard Powell the Director can still remember what I wore for my interview but nothing of what I said. Moving on I progressed onto senior receptionist and then sales negotiator. Having done this for some time I felt it was time for a change I asked if I could be transferred to work in the Lettings Department (Yes really !!) I started as Assistant Lettings Manager in a team of 4. I am today an Associate and the Departmental Manager of a team of 22 and counting. Needless to say Richard Powell can now remember what I say but not what I wear.

    I joined Ryder and Dutton in May 1988, and often wonder where those 25 years have gone, seems like yesterday I joined the company as a part time sales receptionist in our Glossop office. I soon became a full time sales receptionist and progressed to Senior Sales Negotiator. In later years at Glossop I took on the role of lettings advisor for that area and also dealt with preparing inventories, signing tenants in and out and carrying out periodic inspections. In October 2011 I moved to our Springhead office as Departmental Assistant Manager where my 25 years experience has come to good use.

    I am the valuer for the Saddleworth, Tameside and Shaw area, I also progress tenancy applications that come in for my area, this means you will get to speak to me quite a lot. I have worked for Ryder and Dutton for nearly 17 years and have had various roles within the company over the years. I enjoy my role as valuer getting out and about meeting people and visiting some very interesting houses.

    I've worked for Ryder & Dutton for almost 6 years. I'm currently based at our Chadderton branch and primarily cover the rental valuations for Oldham and North Manchester. I also oversee the day to day running of our sub office in Chadderton where we deal with processing tenancy applications, moving tenants in/out of their properties and conducting periodic inspections. Prior to this, I spent the last 12 months based at our Huddersfield branch dealing with all aspects of lettings in the West Yorkshire area. I can honestly say that no two days are the same here in property management and that's what I love about my job!

    I am the lettings valuer based at the Heywood office. I cover the areas from Littleborough through to Harpurhey, inlcuding Middleton, Heywood, Rochdale, Milnrow, Castleton, Blackley, Crumpsall, Bamford and Norden. I also cover viewings for these areas. I have worked for Ryder and Dutton for the past two years, I enjoy the variety that being a letting agent brings, meeting people and I really enjoy looking at houses and seeing what people have done to them, which gives me ideas for my own.

    I am 25 years old and have worked for Ryder and Dutton for the last 2 years. I started off as a receptionist at the Springhead office, 5 months later I was promoted to my current position as an inventory clerk based at the Chadderton office. As an inventory clerk I prepare the inventories, sign tenants in and out of properties and carry out interim property inspections. The best part of my job is meeting new tenants at properties to hand them keys to their new home and then visiting them during the tenancy and seeing how happy and settled they are.

    I have worked at Ryder and Dutton for over 10 years, for most of this time as a Negotiator in sales in both our Middleton and Ashton branches. Although I really enjoyed this role I felt after so long it was time for a change so transferred to lettings in August. My current position is inventory clerk based at our Chadderton office. This role involves signing tenants into properties, carrying out routine inspections during their tenancy and a final inspection when they vacate. The best part of my job is the signing in, tenants are always happy to see me pull up in my little 'Ryder & Dutton' car knowing I have their keys with me.

    I have been employed by Ryder and Dutton for almost 19yrs. My first role was based at the Uppermill office as front desk receptionist which dealt in sales within the Saddleworth and surrounding areas. In 2008 I joined the rental team based at Springhead. My first introduction into rentals was as a receptionist which also included the processing of tenancy applications. The last 3 years I have taken on the role of maintenance coordinator. This role covers the issues raised by tenants and landlords from door locks to leaks and broken boilers. I am at the end of a phone to help co ordinate issues raised by both parties with contractors to undertake works as required. It is a very rewarding job as no two days are the same and you do see works required from start to finish.

    My name is Anna and I have worked for Ryder & Dutton for almost 9 years. I started with the company as a 4x4 receptionist at our Oldham sales office, and then went on to work full time within the Centro team at the head office. In 2009 I joined the property management department and my main role is to organise the periodic property inspections, and follow up on any maintenance raised at the appointments.     I contacted the Heywood office to enquire about them finding a tenant for a flat that I rent out. In the past I have done this myself, but due to work commitments I did not have the time. Brad met me at the property and completed a thorough checklist with me and advised that he would put the paperwork in the post. The paperwork arrived within a day, I delayed things a little as some work needed to be done at the property, but as soon as I was ready I contacted Brad and he arranged for the EPC to be carried out and took photos.     First class service. The team over at the Mossley office were brilliant, especially Angela. We were going through a bit of a tough time, due to our daughter going into hospital, but Angela and the team were very sympathetic, and made sure everything went as smoothly as possible. I really can't thank them enough for going all out for us at what was a very difficult time. An honorary mention must also go the the sales team at Chadderton, especially Helen and Sue. Again, very sympathetic towards us, and made sure the sale of our house went very smoothly.
