SEARLES Property Consultancy specializes in all types of residential property letting and management offering help and advice to Landlords who require professional and knowledgeable expertise.
My apprenticeship in the world of lettings started in 1991 when I arrived in the UK from Hong Kong and answered a local advertisement for a "secretary in a busy lettings office in Dauntsey". This was Zodiac Lettings Agency and the "office" was, in fact, a garage but the business grew and we were soon located in High Street premises in Malmesbury. In 1997, Knight Frank took over Zodiac and I headed up the Knight Frank Cirencester Lettings office. After three years with Knight Frank, the opportunity to buy the business arrived and I re-branded it as HARDCASTLES, in memory of my father as that was his middle name! After six years, I found I was at a cross-roads even though I knew that I wished to continue to pursue my career in rentals. I chose a route that will now allow me to concentrate on the parts of the business I most enjoy, hence the birth of SEARLES Property Consultancy.
