Ian Hardisty was educated in Easingwold and Askham Brian College and enjoyed an initial career in engineering. From an early stage in his career Ian knew that property was where his heart was and because his background was from a more practical and technical profession he knew that property lettings and management was the area of the estate agency business he would excel in.

Ian launched the residential lettings and property management division at the Horsforth Office and since then this area of the business has gone from strength to strength. Ian now heads up the department with his ARLA qualified, extremely professional and very well respected assistant manager Maria Sylvio-Styles and they have a superb team of residential lettings staff providing an exceptionally comprehensive and professional service for landlords and tenants.

The division follows the work ethics of the rest of the company and they have a strong focus on customer service. The rental division is open seven days a week and offers an accompanied viewing service seven days a week to ensure landlords receive an optimum service and maximium exposure to potential tenants

Sophie began her working career in child and adult care and pursued this for several years before looking for a change in her career direction. She decided that she wanted a complete change and challenge and looked at the property industry as an avenue to grow and prosper in a completely different field.

Sophie joined the rental team at Horsforth as trainee lettings negotiator in 2011 and very quickly developed into her role. Sophie has proven her dedication and commitment and has grown significantly in knowledge and experience achieving her MARLA in June 2012. Sophie now holds the position of lettings negotiator and has excellent organisational skills and upholds a high degree of professionalism and quality of service to all of her clients.

Lesley had worked for many years as a dental practice manager and due to a turn of fate that career came to an end and she started a career working in a Leeds hospital involved with estate management and repairs. This is where Lesley found her new life's passion! Early in 2013, along came the opportunity for her to spread her wings and move into the property management sector and she joined The Waite & Co lettings team as property maintenance co-ordinator at the Horsforth Office.

Lesley looks after all the maintenance and repair aspects of the managed portfolio and is an excellent communicator who has superb organisational skills and a great attention to detail. She has very quickly progressed into her role and provides a service second to none to all of her landlords and tenants. Lesley is focused on customer service ensuring that all works are carried out to the satisfaction of all.

Maria first started her work in rentals in 1990 as a lettings negotiator but switched her career path to business development in the mid 1990's. Maria had a long break from the lettings industry and returned back to her passion of property in 2008, working for a local independent lettings agent as lettings negotiator in North Leeds.

Maria quickly developed and settled back into the industry like she had never been away and her knowledge of the local area and lettings and property management went from strength to strength. Maria completed her MARLA in 2012 and her hard work paid off when an opportunity arose to join the vibrant, enthusiastic and dedicated rental team at the Waite & Co Horsforth Office as Assistant Manager.

Maria has displayed complete dedication and commitment to her role, the lettings department and the company and is now heading up and this highly successful and further growing department as lettings manager.

Andrew was educated in Easingwold, Bishop Burton College and then Newcastle University where he graduated with honours in Agriculture and Estate management. Whilst at University, being a young entrepreneur, he purchased two properties to rent out in the Leeds area and that's where his love of property began.

After graduating Andrew initially began his career in faming and whilst that is also one of his life's passions the passion for property took over and he decided to diversify into Estate Agency in 2002. Andrew purchased the business of Waite & Co Horsforth and since then has acquired both the Guiseley and Otley Offices and joined forces with his two brothers Ian and Peter. Andrew believes in a strong and hard working ethic and bases his business practices on being independent and family run where commitment, dedication and quality of service is paramount.

Andrew and his two brother's focus on what the customer wants and they ensure that their full range of services are available seven days a week and early evenings to allow their clients the opportunity to take advantage of viewings and valuations at times to suit their busy lifestyles. Andrew now resides in Rawdon with his wife and four young children and is heavily involved in the local community.

Emma is the branch manager of the residential sales division based at the Horsforth Office and she has a wealth of experience and knowledge of the local area. Emma is originally from a strong customer service back ground but decided that she wanted to experience working for herself and opened her own business in 2002 which she sold on in 2004 to dedicate her time to her three young children.

After a time Emma decided that she wanted to return to a career that involved property and a strong customer service work ethic. Emma joined the Waite and Co team at the Horsforth Office as a part time member of staff and as her knowledge and experience grew (along with her three children!) she felt the need for more involvement and career development.

Emma quickly progressed to a senior sales negotiator and then into the helm of the manager of the highly successful Horsforth Office. Emma is an extremely focused, committed, organised and professional individual who heads up a superb team of like minded property professionals with a strong desire to succeed. She is 100% dedicated to all of her clients and ensures that they receive an optimum service and maximum exposure to the housing market and provides an extremely comprehensive after sales service.

Keely is the assistant manager of the Horsforth Office working alongside Emma Westerman. Keely joined the industry in 2002 and began her estate agency career working for a small local independent estate agency in Leeds.

After her first initial three years in the business she decided she wanted to experience the world of corporate estate agency and joined one of the national agents in 2005. After a short time Keely decided that the corporate way was not for her. She preferred the focus on personal and customer service provided by independent estate agents and joined Waite & Co in 2009 as the assistant manager at the Guiseley Office and moved in 2011 to the Horsforth Office.

Keely has a wealth of estate agency experience and an excellent knowledge of the local area and provides a comprehensive and highly professional personal service to her clients. Keely is a hard working and professional individual and a committed senior team member who is extremely dedicated to both her colleagues and her clients.

Janice has worked in the industry for the last fourteen years and has an excellent knowledge and superb wealth of experience in estate agency practice and valuing. Janice joined the business in 1999 after having her two children and at first worked part time. It didn't take Janice long before she was passionate about property, the industry and the company and she very quickly increased her hours and her dedication.

Janice now holds the position of Senior Valuer at the Horsforth Office and her commitment and dedication to her role has grown from strength to strength. She always goes that extra mile for all of her clients and provides an invaluable service to all that is second to none. Janice is extremely personable, helpful and professional and strives to give the best levels of customer service, up-to-date and completely informed advice about, the current market, property values and our high level of service.

Ann is the mother of the three proprietors of the business and is based at the Horsforth Office. She works there as a negotiator and administrator. Ann comes from a secretarial background which has given her an excellent grounding for the estate agency industry where attention to detail is fundamentally important.

She is extremely organised, efficient and is an excellent communicator and is dedicated to providing her clients with a top class and complete service. Ann is an excellent all rounder and strives to give the best and most professional advice to all of her clients. Ann is committed to the business and is a valued and highly respected member of the team at the Horsforth Office and she is often around long after the office has closed ensuring that her clients receive an optimum service.

Tracey has been working in the estate agency industry since 1986 and has a wealth of knowledge and experience. Tracey began her career in the Bramley area of Leeds working for a small independent estate agent. Throughout her career she has experienced the corporate and independent worlds of estate agency and quickly decided that the work ethic and personal service offered by the independent estate agent determined a definite pathway which she wanted her career to take.

Tracey moved to work in the Horsforth area of Leeds in 1989 and this is where she has settled and remained. Tracey is highly regarded and respected within the profession and has a wealth of valued and loyal clients. She now holds the position of area manager overseeing the Horsforth residential sales and lettings divisions and the Guiseley and Otley offices. Tracey has an extremely strong work ethic, focused on family values and ensures that her loyal, committed and motivated teams are on top of their game and provide a first class service to all of our clients

Tony is the father of the three proprietors and enjoys a successful career as the accompanied viewer working principally for the Residential Sales and Rental division based at our Horsforth Office. Tony is extremely dedicated and puts both the business and the clients first by providing his services six days a week and often out of the normal regular office hours ensuring that prospective purchasers and tenants get to see properties at their convenience and at times to suit them.

Tony is also from a farming background where hard work and commitment is an essential part of day to day life and this is reflected in how he fulfils his role at Waite & Co. Tony is extremely professional, knowledgeable and personable and takes great pride in his position in the company.

Ben was educated at Easingwold Secondary School and left after completing his A levels at eighteen. Ben began his working life in retail but always knew there was an exciting career in residential estate agency awaiting him. In 2011 Ben's opportunity to fulfil his ambition came along and he joined the team at the Horsforth Office as trainee sales negotiator. Ben quickly progressed into his role and gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in a short space of time.

 Ben is a dedicated and committed individual who works with great efficiency and precision. His attention to detail is exacting and he highly regards each and every one of his clients. Ben now fulfils the role of Sales Negotiator at the Horsforth Office and successfully completed his technical award in Residential Estate Agency in 2013.

Richard was educated at Northallerton College and completed his A levels before leaving to commence his further higher education at Leeds Metropolitan University. Rich graduated in 2010 and commenced his working life, firstly, in recruitment. In 2012 Richard found an opportunity to diversify his career path to Property and joined Waite & Co, working from the highly successful flag ship office at Horsforth as trainee sales negotiator.

Richard has proven his excellent abilities in a very short space of time and provides a top class, professional service to all of his clients. He is an extremely organised and motivated individual who is growing from strength to strength. Rich successfully completed his Technical Award in Residential Estate Agency in 2013 and continues to progress with pace and now holds the position of Sales Negotiator
