Choosing the right estate agent is crucial and there are lots of us around – Over 20,000 on this site. Making sure you are with the right one could be the difference between selling or letting your home quickly for the right price or hanging around for months.

They know what helps to sell or let a property, what buyers and tenants are looking for, the local schools, the transport links and what’s about to happen in the area. This detail is vital and you need to know your agent is knowledgeable before any marketing begins.
Keeping you up to date
You can have the best marketing in the world but if we don’t tell you what’s happening, what’s the point? We’ll keep you up-to-date on who has been looking at your property, viewing feedback and, of course, once you’ve accepted an offer we’ll progress a sale and make sure you know what’s happening at all times.
We’ve researched* what works when marketing your home to prospective buyers and tenants. The two best methods by far are a) picking up the phone and calling buyers and tenants when you instruct us and b) advertising your home on the Internet. Of course, for sale boards, property details, newspaper advertising and a network of offices all help too.
We have all of them and we really focus our attention on what works best for our customers.
Getting a head start
The housing market is extremely competitive and any advantage you can take could be vital in helping you secure your dream home. Here, we can help you find out what you can afford to buy and then put your finances in place so when you have an offer accepted you’ll be ready to proceed straight away. When you ask us to sell or find you a home make sure you ask about our Head Start Service.
We are also one of the founder members of the Ombudsman for Estate Agents and, on the lettings side, we’re members of the Association of Residential Letting Agents. Both offer a speedy review of any complaint and have the power to award compensation.
