I like nothing better at the weekend than taking the dog out for a long walk over the fields, working up an appetite for a tasty lunch by the fire of a welcoming local pub.

What we love most about living in Gosforth is the flexibility of the location. Travelling for less than 30 minutes can take us to the beautiful Northumberland countryside or our stunning North East coast. On a sunny day there's nothing better than a stroll through Gosforth Park followed by a relaxed afternoon or evening sitting in the beer garden at the Brandling Arms or The County.
