NALS is an independent licensing scheme for lettings and management agents, which ensures that all members provide defined standards of customer service, are part of a Client Money Protection Scheme and operate a customer complaints procedure with independent redress.

    SAFEagent

    The Property Ombudsmen

      Friendly character and honesty - Very helpful
      May I be so bold to write a few lines about Charlie who took me to see some properties to rent. Charlie was on time and very friendly and helpful and answered almost all my questions. He was able to give me some advice as to some good areas in and around Ipswich and which areas to avoid. His friendly character and honesty is a big plus in my books and I will definitely direct people to him and the agents he works for in the future. The properties he showed me were just a wee bit too small for my family's needs and does in no way reflect on him. Unfortunately there were no other properties available from your agents. I was able to secure a 4 bed property for £900 (the upper limit of our budget) in a small village just outside Ipswich, which ticked all the boxes. Once we have moved we will be looking for a property to buy with a budget of £200,000 as the upper limit with 3-4 beds, garden, garage and parking for at least 3 cars in the Ipswich area.

      Courteous and sympathetic - We are very grateful
      I have just moved into rented accommodation in Ipswich helped largely by Charles. I'm sure you are already aware of Charles' professionalism but I wanted to take a moment of your time to tell you about my experience this week. I contacted Charles on Monday and was immediately struck by his courteous and sympathetic manner on the phone as I explained my current situation. I wanted desperately to view a property I had seen online as it stood out from the crowd. Due to work commitments that week I could only view the property on the Wednesday. Another couple were due to view the property for a second time on the Tuesday so the odds were quite stacked against me. Charles did not however give up on my application. He said he would contact me at the end of the Tuesday after the viewing to let me know if they were submitting an application for tenancy. He duly contacted me, said that they had put in an offer and that it was 90% likely to go through. This did not however stop Charles helping me. He suggested I pay the deposit and complete the necessary forms even though I hadn't view the property. He promptly sent the forms across and dealt with my responses. On the Wednesday morning prior to the viewing, it turns out that the other applicant's checks failed and now my application was the only one on the table. I met the owner, loved the house and met Charles for the first time. Charles pre-empted potential problems and has dealt with me in a sincere and professional way throughout. I don't think I would be sitting here now in this new home had it not been for the efforts of Charles. I and my children are very grateful to him.
