Monmouth was named one of the best places to live in Wales in 2017. It has everything from historic 18th-century cottages and Georgian town houses to Victorian semis, as well as modern homes and barn conversions. There's something for every taste and budget, whether you want to live in the town itself or one of the nearby villages like Brockweir, Whitchurch, Trellech, Llandogo or Penallt.

The town is well located: here you're under 40 miles from Cardiff and under an hour's journey from Gloucester. The nearest train stations are Abergavenny (20 minutes) and Chepstow (30 minutes).

We recently completed a house sale through your Monmouth branch. The staff you have working there are excellent. My house had been with two estate agents prior to moving it to haart and so I had some considerable experience to assess the level of service received. I would and will recommend haart to any of my friends living in Monmouthshire. In particular I would like to mention Gemma. From the outset Gemma was business-like, honest and efficient. She kept me fully informed of progress and managed to set up numerous viewings. We received an offer within 2 months of moving the property to haart and this after the property had been on the market for 12 months prior. However Gemma's magic is not really in getting the offer despite the fact that she inspires her team to work hard to achieve this first step. Nursing the deal to completion through good relationships with sellers and buyers, pragmatism, a dollop of common sense and a smidgen of reassurance; that is where she earns the money for your company.
