Last year most property sales in Buckinghamshire involved detached properties which sold for on average £656,902. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £370,375, while terraced properties fetched £312,134.

Buckinghamshire, with an overall average price of £418,801, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Oxfordshire (£407,494) and Berkshire (£426,292), but was cheaper than Surrey (£532,065). The priciest area within Buckinghamshire was Chalfont St. Giles (£1,074,892) and the least expensive was Walnut Tree (£213,823).

During the last year, sold prices in Buckinghamshire were 7% up on the previous year and 15% up on 2015 when the average house price was £364,879.
