Last year most property sales in Mid Wales involved detached properties which sold for on average £335,527. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £208,908, while terraced properties fetched £160,250.
Mid Wales, with an overall average price of £281,575 was more expensive than nearby North Wales (£226,940), South Wales (£231,836) and West Wales (£232,675). The priciest area within Mid Wales was Ceredigion (£266,504) and the least expensive was Powys (£253,526).
During the last year, sold prices in Mid Wales were 3% up on the previous year and 21% up on 2021 when the average house price was £232,477.
