House Prices in North Wales

Most of the sales in North Wales over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £201,023. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £129,019 and terraced properties averaged at £110,211.

North Wales, with an overall average price of £154,045, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby West Wales (£152,961) and South Wales (£150,044), but was cheaper than Mid Wales (£201,967). The most expensive area within North Wales was Flintshire (£159,600) and the cheapest was Denbighshire (£144,150).

In the past year house prices in North Wales were similar to the year before and 7% down on 2007 when they averaged at £166,065.
