Most of the sales in North Wales over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £321,272. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £199,979 and terraced properties averaged at £154,727.
North Wales, with an overall average price of £226,940, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby West Wales (£232,675) and South Wales (£231,836), but was cheaper than Mid Wales (£281,575). The most expensive area within North Wales was Isle Of Anglesey (£280,838) and the cheapest was Denbighshire (£205,768).
In the past year house prices in North Wales were 3% down on the year before and similar to 2021 when they averaged at £221,781.
