West Midlands, with an overall average price of £279,271 was more expensive than nearby East Midlands (£263,739) and North West (£241,636), but was cheaper than South West (£365,878). The priciest area within West Midlands was Warwickshire (£350,379) and the least expensive was Staffordshire (£240,295).
During the last year, sold prices in West Midlands were similar to the previous year and 4% up on 2021 when the average house price was £269,639.
