Wiltshire, with an overall average price of £282,914, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Gloucestershire (£293,502), but was cheaper than Bristol (County) (£303,900) and Dorset (£317,755). The priciest area within Wiltshire was Neston (£578,333) and the least expensive was Tidworth (£214,527).
During the last year, sold prices in Wiltshire were 7% up on the previous year and 13% up on 2015 when the average house price was £250,330.
