Wiltshire, with an overall average price of £270,056, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Gloucestershire (£280,163), but was cheaper than Bristol (County) (£294,207) and Dorset (£304,761). The priciest area within Wiltshire was Whiteparish (£735,204) and the least expensive was Melksham (£211,255).
During the last year, sold prices in Wiltshire were 5% up on the previous year and 16% up on 2014 when the average house price was £232,429.
