Last year most property sales in Yorkshire and the Humber involved semi-detached properties which sold for on average £163,671. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £133,251, while detached properties fetched £291,801.
Yorkshire and the Humber, with an overall average price of £182,725, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby North West (£182,313), but was more expensive than North East (£158,049) and cheaper than East Midlands (£197,953). The priciest area within Yorkshire and the Humber was North Yorkshire (£228,045) and the least expensive was South Yorkshire (£156,212).
During the last year, sold prices in Yorkshire and the Humber were 3% up on the previous year and 10% up on 2014 when the average house price was £166,189.
