Last year most property sales in Yorkshire and the Humber involved semi-detached properties which sold for on average £222,983. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £171,416, while detached properties fetched £400,172.

Yorkshire and the Humber, with an overall average price of £237,835, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby North West (£241,636), but was more expensive than North East (£190,602) and cheaper than East Midlands (£263,739). The priciest area within Yorkshire and the Humber was North Yorkshire (£290,931) and the least expensive was East Riding Of Yorkshire (£210,575).

During the last year, sold prices in Yorkshire and the Humber were similar to the previous year and 4% up on 2021 when the average house price was £229,307.
