Yorkshire and the Humber, with an overall average price of £188,401, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby North West (£190,703), but was more expensive than North East (£163,230) and cheaper than East Midlands (£206,160). The priciest area within Yorkshire and the Humber was North Yorkshire (£232,724) and the least expensive was South Yorkshire (£163,427).
During the last year, sold prices in Yorkshire and the Humber were 3% up on the previous year and 8% up on 2015 when the average house price was £173,862.
