The majority of sales in Aintree during the last year were semi-detached properties, selling for an average price of £154,695. Terraced properties sold for an average of £97,385, with detached properties fetching £227,564.
Aintree, with an overall average price of £144,326 was more expensive than nearby Fazakerley (£119,219) and Netherton (£120,508), but was cheaper than Liverpool (£160,602).
Overall sold prices in Aintree over the last year were 10% up on the previous year and 8% up on the 2007 level of £134,118.
