Most of the sales in Ashbourne over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £317,477. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £171,943 and semi-detached properties averaged at £172,359.
Ashbourne, with an overall average price of £248,805, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Doveridge (£247,940), but was more expensive than Wirksworth (£216,009) and cheaper than Brailsford (£340,676).
In the past year house prices in Ashbourne were similar to the year before and 10% up on 2007 when they averaged at £225,598.
