Last year most property sales in Babbacombe involved flats which sold for on average £182,050. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £173,990, while semi-detached properties fetched £244,391.
Babbacombe, with an overall average price of £192,121, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Torquay (£200,301), but was more expensive than St. Marychurch (£175,729) and cheaper than Shiphay (£203,031).
During the last year, sold prices in Babbacombe were 21% up on the previous year and 12% up on 2007 when the average house price was £172,266.
