Last year most property sales in Barrow-In-Furness involved terraced properties which sold for on average £90,156. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £157,839, while detached properties fetched £236,252.
Barrow-In-Furness, with an overall average price of £125,806, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Walney (£120,094), but was more expensive than Dalton-In-Furness (£117,721) and cheaper than Askam-In-Furness (£186,757).
During the last year, sold prices in Barrow-In-Furness were 5% up on the previous year and 10% up on 2009 when the average house price was £114,845.
