The majority of sales in Birstall during the last year were semi-detached properties, selling for an average price of £197,831. Detached properties sold for an average of £289,248, with terraced properties fetching £197,119.
Birstall, with an overall average price of £219,318, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Syston (£215,585), but was more expensive than Thurmaston (£177,333) and cheaper than Rothley (£329,706).
Overall sold prices in Birstall over the last year were 5% up on the previous year and 11% up on the 2015 level of £197,737.
