Most of the sales in Blackley over the past year were semi-detached properties which on average sold for £115,556. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £90,345 and detached properties averaged at £187,637.
Blackley, with an overall average price of £110,659 was more expensive than nearby Moston (£102,802), but was cheaper than Alkrington Garden Village (£178,718) and Crumpsall (£125,708).
In the past year house prices in Blackley were similar to the year before and 3% up on 2007 when they averaged at £107,340.
