Last year most property sales in Buckinghamshire involved detached properties which sold for on average £556,540. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £245,178, while semi-detached properties fetched £299,502.
Buckinghamshire, with an overall average price of £346,863, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Oxfordshire (£352,280) and Berkshire (£340,886), but was cheaper than Surrey (£448,653). The priciest area within Buckinghamshire was Beaconsfield (£948,449) and the least expensive was Oldbrook (£170,798).
During the last year, sold prices in Buckinghamshire were 7% up on the previous year and 11% up on 2010 when the average house price was £311,487.
