Most of the sales in Central London over the past year were flats which on average sold for £1,298,872. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £4,032,990 and detached properties averaged at £1,447,750.
Central London, with an overall average price of £1,484,895 was more expensive than nearby West London (£1,178,508), South West London (£643,561) and North London (£640,039). The most expensive area within Central London was Westminster (£1,524,111) and the cheapest was City Of London (£879,138).
In the past year house prices in Central London were 15% up on the year before and 32% up on 2012 when they averaged at £1,121,417.
