Most of the sales in Central London over the past year were flats which on average sold for £1,288,192. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £3,739,826 and detached properties averaged at £1,447,750.
Central London, with an overall average price of £1,459,510 was more expensive than nearby West London (£1,170,845), South West London (£653,738) and North London (£618,036). The most expensive area within Central London was Westminster (£1,474,428) and the cheapest was City Of London (£833,173).
In the past year house prices in Central London were 19% up on the year before and 30% up on 2012 when they averaged at £1,124,103.
