Most of the sales in Cheam over the past year were terraced properties which on average sold for £425,894. Flats had an average sold price of £289,582 and semi-detached properties averaged at £519,424.
Cheam, with an overall average price of £499,220 was more expensive than nearby Sutton (£362,333), Belmont (£338,822) and Rosehill (£391,006).
In the past year house prices in Cheam were 15% up on the year before and 34% up on 2013 when they averaged at £373,202.
