The majority of sales in Cheshire during the last year were detached properties, selling for an average price of £335,297. Semi-detached properties sold for an average of £182,794, with terraced properties fetching £150,820.
Cheshire, with an overall average price of £219,570 was more expensive than nearby Merseyside (£156,298), Greater Manchester (£169,063) and Lancashire (£154,138). The most expensive area within Cheshire was Mere (£826,850) and the cheapest was Golborne (£108,968).
Overall sold prices in Cheshire over the last year were 3% up on the previous year and 8% up on the 2010 level of £203,757.
