The majority of sales in Cheshire during the last year were semi-detached properties, selling for an average price of £178,127. Detached properties sold for an average of £325,494, with terraced properties fetching £143,237.
Cheshire, with an overall average price of £210,306 was more expensive than nearby Merseyside (£148,547), Greater Manchester (£160,777) and Lancashire (£150,051). The most expensive area within Cheshire was Mottram St. Andrew (£1,772,729) and the cheapest was Golborne (£107,767).
Overall sold prices in Cheshire over the last year were 4% up on the previous year and 3% up on the 2010 level of £203,670.
