The majority of sales in Cheshire during the last year were semi-detached properties, selling for an average price of £180,350. Detached properties sold for an average of £330,016, with terraced properties fetching £145,322.
Cheshire, with an overall average price of £213,648 was more expensive than nearby Merseyside (£150,972), Greater Manchester (£163,485) and Lancashire (£151,845). The most expensive area within Cheshire was Mottram St. Andrew (£1,598,789) and the cheapest was Golborne (£106,925).
Overall sold prices in Cheshire over the last year were 4% up on the previous year and 5% up on the 2010 level of £203,681.
