The majority of sales in Cheshire during the last year were semi-detached properties, selling for an average price of £179,613. Detached properties sold for an average of £331,709, with terraced properties fetching £145,726.
Cheshire, with an overall average price of £213,659 was more expensive than nearby Merseyside (£152,060), Greater Manchester (£163,754) and Lancashire (£151,938). The most expensive area within Cheshire was Mottram St. Andrew (£1,526,889) and the cheapest was Golborne (£104,964).
Overall sold prices in Cheshire over the last year were 4% up on the previous year and 5% up on the 2010 level of £203,692.
