Most of the sales in Chew Magna over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £897,000. Flats had an average sold price of £390,000 and terraced properties averaged at £640,000.
Chew Magna, with an overall average price of £741,833 was more expensive than nearby Chew Stoke (£539,273), Bishop Sutton (£440,558) and Dundry (£490,777).
In the past year house prices in Chew Magna were 35% up on the year before and 37% up on 2013 when they averaged at £540,125.
