Last year most property sales in Chew Stoke involved detached properties which sold for on average £678,333. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £363,500, while terraced properties fetched £265,000.
Chew Stoke, with an overall average price of £515,800 was more expensive than nearby Bishop Sutton (£356,916) and Dundry (£473,094), but was cheaper than Chew Magna (£630,179).
During the last year, sold prices in Chew Stoke were 6% down on the previous year and 18% down on 2007 when the average house price was £627,187.
