Most of the sales in Clay Cross over the past year were terraced properties which on average sold for £89,165. Detached properties had an average sold price of £199,438 and semi-detached properties averaged at £107,368.
Clay Cross, with an overall average price of £128,469 was more expensive than nearby North Wingfield (£119,502), but was cheaper than Wingerworth (£204,751) and Ashover (£370,387).
In the past year house prices in Clay Cross were 13% up on the year before and similar to 2011 when they averaged at £130,508.
