Most of the sales in Clayhall over the past year were semi-detached properties which on average sold for £500,958. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £474,676 and flats averaged at £274,139.
Clayhall, with an overall average price of £464,572, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Redbridge (£462,013), but was more expensive than Barkingside (£423,611) and Fullwell Cross (£435,028).
In the past year house prices in Clayhall were 3% up on the year before and 33% up on 2014 when they averaged at £348,639.
