Last year most property sales in Clifton involved semi-detached properties which sold for on average £318,516. Detached properties sold for an average price of £440,249, while terraced properties fetched £216,406.
Clifton, with an overall average price of £321,696 was more expensive than nearby Shefford (£288,054), but was cheaper than Henlow (£351,861) and Meppershall (£388,691).
During the last year, sold prices in Clifton were 14% down on the previous year and similar to 2014 when the average house price was £324,008.
