Most of the sales in Clowne over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £181,379. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £127,954 and terraced properties averaged at £94,108.
Clowne, with an overall average price of £146,393 was more expensive than nearby Bolsover (£113,022), but was cheaper than Barlborough (£181,514) and Chesterfield (£155,667).
In the past year house prices in Clowne were 21% up on the year before and 6% up on 2009 when they averaged at £138,248.
