Most of the sales in Clowne over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £180,422. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £125,100 and terraced properties averaged at £99,177.
Clowne, with an overall average price of £143,285 was more expensive than nearby Bolsover (£110,904), but was cheaper than Barlborough (£177,151) and Chesterfield (£155,961).
In the past year house prices in Clowne were 12% up on the year before and 4% up on 2009 when they averaged at £138,248.
