Most of the sales in Cooden Beach over the past year were flats which on average sold for £168,998. Detached properties had an average sold price of £392,902 and terraced properties averaged at £180,499.
Cooden Beach, with an overall average price of £259,643, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Little Common (£260,506), but was more expensive than Bexhill On Sea (£222,386) and Pevensey Bay (£225,482).
In the past year house prices in Cooden Beach were 10% up on the year before and 5% up on 2007 when they averaged at £246,880.
