Last year most property sales in Corwen involved terraced properties which sold for on average £106,100. Detached properties sold for an average price of £190,500, while semi-detached properties fetched £119,238.
Corwen, with an overall average price of £132,818, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Cynwyd (£129,500) and Betws Gwerfil Goch (£127,500), but was cheaper than Carrog (£290,000).
During the last year, sold prices in Corwen were 12% down on the previous year and 13% down on 2008 when the average house price was £152,625.
