Last year most property sales in Corwen involved detached properties which sold for on average £259,850. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £100,100, while semi-detached properties fetched £132,317.
Corwen, with an overall average price of £175,400 was more expensive than nearby Cynwyd (£130,000) and Betws Gwerfil Goch (£127,500), but was cheaper than Carrog (£290,000).
During the last year, sold prices in Corwen were 20% up on the previous year and 13% up on 2008 when the average house price was £155,853.
