Last year most property sales in Cressington involved terraced properties which sold for on average £132,343. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £240,951, while flats fetched £101,335.
Cressington, with an overall average price of £180,354, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Wirral (£173,221), but was more expensive than Liverpool (£147,605) and cheaper than Woolton (£207,474).
During the last year, sold prices in Cressington were 3% up on the previous year and 7% down on 2012 when the average house price was £194,296.
