The majority of sales in Crookes during the last year were terraced properties, selling for an average price of £177,540. Semi-detached properties sold for an average of £232,402, with flats fetching £145,600.
Crookes, with an overall average price of £186,818 was more expensive than nearby Walkley (£163,555) and Hillsborough (£145,897), but was cheaper than Crosspool (£279,441).
Overall sold prices in Crookes over the last year were 3% up on the previous year and 7% up on the 2007 level of £174,788.
