Most of the sales in Danbury over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £683,033. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £435,717 and flats averaged at £469,667.
Danbury, with an overall average price of £564,960 was more expensive than nearby Bicknacre (£319,433), but was cheaper than Little Baddow (£768,416) and Sandon (£799,040).
In the past year house prices in Danbury were 9% up on the year before and 13% up on 2014 when they averaged at £500,628.
