Last year most property sales in Decoy involved semi-detached properties which sold for on average £240,500. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £163,000, while detached properties fetched £403,750.
Decoy, with an overall average price of £233,000, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Newton Abbot (£226,960) and Highweek (£221,906), but was more expensive than Torquay (£206,776).
During the last year, sold prices in Decoy were 4% up on the previous year and 6% down on 2013 when the average house price was £247,733.
There were only 11 properties sold in the last year, therefore, the average prices may only reflect the mix of properties sold, rather than changes in the local market itself.
