Last year most property sales in Delph involved terraced properties which sold for on average £203,513. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £280,232, while detached properties fetched £429,750.
Delph, with an overall average price of £278,701 was more expensive than nearby Saddleworth (£232,556), Uppermill (£256,067) and Shaw (£147,864).
During the last year, sold prices in Delph were 18% up on the previous year and 12% up on 2014 when the average house price was £248,693.
