Most of the sales in Denton Burn over the past year were semi-detached properties which on average sold for £140,302. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £119,203 and flats averaged at £70,200.
Denton Burn, with an overall average price of £128,065 was more expensive than nearby West Denton (£106,552), but was cheaper than Newcastle Upon Tyne (£197,297) and Fenham (£145,351).
In the past year house prices in Denton Burn were similar to the year before and 5% up on 2007 when they averaged at £122,144.
