Most of the sales in Downham Market over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £210,004. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £163,415 and terraced properties averaged at £151,324.
Downham Market, with an overall average price of £179,328, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Watlington (£178,382), but was cheaper than Denver (£242,280) and Stoke Ferry (£237,291).
In the past year house prices in Downham Market were 6% up on the year before and 7% up on 2008 when they averaged at £167,542.
