Most of the sales in Downham Market over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £219,028. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £140,517 and semi-detached properties averaged at £161,395.
Downham Market, with an overall average price of £179,631, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Watlington (£174,955), but was cheaper than Denver (£239,468) and Stoke Ferry (£212,722).
In the past year house prices in Downham Market were 9% up on the year before and 7% up on 2008 when they averaged at £167,542.
