Last year most property sales in Dymchurch involved detached properties which sold for on average £316,875. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £254,297, while flats fetched £397,500.
Dymchurch, with an overall average price of £294,591, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Littlestone (£289,687), but was more expensive than New Romney (£257,497) and cheaper than Lympne (£348,556).
During the last year, sold prices in Dymchurch were 15% up on the previous year and 42% up on 2007 when the average house price was £207,411.
